Make sure your oven is off and cool the entire time and don't spray the oven cleaner on any electrical components, heating elements, or fans.
Take out the racks and wipe the oven with a damp rag to remove any loose food or residue. I like to clean the racks outside so that I don't make a mess of my sink.
Spray the Easy Off Oven Cleaner everywhere it is safe to use in the oven and let it sit for a while before cleaning it off. Don't forget to check your OVEN MANUAL to be sure you can use oven cleaners on it.
You certainly can leave Easy Off Oven Cleaner on overnight. However, you'll need to stop it from drying. So I like to cover it with some plastic wrap to keep it wet.
