Today, there are SO MANY free local TV channels. I get 130 in Houston! All you need to get them is a Digital TV antenna. It’s simple to use, you just plug the antenna into the back of your TV and a power outlet.
To stream TV, you'll need a high speed internet connection. AND, a Smart TV OR a Streaming Stick (like a Roku or Apple TV). Both give you easy access to streaming apps, like Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Max, and tons more.
The BEST thing about getting rid of cable,, is that my TV’s can now go ANYWHERE I want them. Now that I use a Roku or a Smart TV, I don’t have to keep my TV on a certain wall to keep it close to the cable outlet. I connect everything through WiFi.
I don’t have ANY contracts with any streaming apps. I LOVE being able to turn on something like Netflix for a few months of binging. Then, I can turn on something like Paramount+, Showtime, or Max for a while. I don’t need all of those apps at the same time. That makes everything cheaper.!
