28 Best Small Scrap Wood Projects With Easy To Follow DIY Steps & Videos

One of my favorite ways to use up 1 x 2 scrap wood is by turning it into scrap wood wall art. And, you can make it any size, any stain, or any paint color you need!

A few years ago, I covered our kitchen table in 1/4" x 1 1/2" poplar boards. It's one of my favorite projects. If you have a lot of scrap lattice or lattice-sized lumber around, turn it into a geometric table top or wall art.

I made this chunky curtain bracket using leftover parts of a bookend. But, you can easily build a similar curtain bracket using scrap wood. Then add a wooden dowel and dowel brackets to finish it off.
