We’re a little more than half way through our Living Room Makeover and it’s already looking so fantastic, guys!
Making Progress on this Traditional Living Room Makeover
Welcome, welcome. For those of you that are new here, hi! I’m Stephanie. I blog about all things DIY and Home Remodeling happening in my house.
I’ll be revealing the full Living Room makeover soon. I can tell already, it’s going to be pretty dramatic, friends. Technically, it looks nearly done already.
But, I have a few more projects to finish. Upholstering one of our chairs with some amazing blue velvet fabric is the last big project. I can’t wait to see it.
So…maybe I should get it started. Yikes, so much to do.
Here’s a little reminder of some of the before photos for this Farmhouse meets Traditional Living Room Makeover. You can see all of the Living Room before photos here.

A Few Photos Of Finished Updates
If you saw my Shiplap Fireplace Makeover last week, you might have already seen this sneak peek at our new Living Room look.

I love how light and fresh this room looks now with much lighter paint.
I’ve finished building 2 new side tables and a console table for this room too. I LOVE building furniture so that I can get the exact size, colors, and design options I want in a space.

I’ve been updating most of the rooms in my house with a light paint color on the walls. It always makes any room I try it in look so much lighter, brighter, and BIGGER!

Wow! It's looking good! I wouldn't like to be up on scaffolding. Shoot, I don't even like to be standing on the floor paining! :D But I do love that color and the way it makes that gorgeous moulding pop. #GrandmasHouseLinkParty

Thanks so much, Jean. Painting isn't the funnest job, but it's so worth it. :)
